Science of ...
Series

The Science of ... Series explores the intersection of science with other topics such as music, athletic endeavors, and cooking.

Science Of Peak Performance

The Aspen Science Center is proud to present the Science of Peak Performance, in partnership with Aspen Valley Hospital, to a community that embodies all things extraordinary. Inspired by the popular Science of Music series developed with the Aspen Music Festival and School, this series explores the intersection of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and optimal performance. Whether the focus is on athletics, personal fitness, mindset, or performing arts, this first-of-its-kind series offers a unique opportunity to delve into how STEM impacts and informs our quest to achieve, sustain, or reclaim peak performance. With events each year to explore the multifaceted dimensions of human peak performance, the series promises to be a signature ASC offering for Roaring Fork Valley residents and visitors alike.

Science Of Music

The popular biannual Science of Music series of lectures and demonstrations co-presented by the Aspen Science Center and the Aspen Music Festival and School is aimed at the “enthusiastic novice,” no previous knowledge of science or music theory is needed to enjoy these explorations.
