ABOUT

What we do.

Aspen Science Center is proud to serve as the only non-profit in the Aspen to Parachute region focusing exclusively on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education for people of all ages. Our hands-on, engaging, bilingual programs and events are designed to spark curiosity, cultivate critical thinking, and illustrate how science can be used to better understand our world. Through strong partnerships with local communities, schools, and other nonprofits region-wide, ASC delivers a variety of year-round programs directly in each community it serves, bridging gaps in STEM education, creating opportunities for lifelong learning, and building a STEM-empowered citizenry.

Word around town.

If we could do Aspen Science Center camps every week of the summer, we'd be tempted. We tell so many people about how amazing these camps are. Great programming that stays on topic, counselors that are intelligent and personable, and a focus on science, something the school curriculum is lacking these days. My daughter came home from camp full of science facts and energized to go back the next day - and even cried on her last day of Junior Doctor Academy this summer. She fully became a doctor/surgeon that week, and plans to be a real doctor some day! We've also done Kinder STEM, Robotics camp, and Rocket Camp, and all were amazing and so worth it!

We've done two sessions of robotics a previous summer and the Ice Age Camp this summer. Our daughter has come home enthusiastic and excited to share her new knowledge every day. We could not be happier with these programs and will plan on doing more in the future. What a wonderful experience for a curious little scientist.

This camp absolutely delivered on STEM. Many camps talk about a science focus and don't deliver, but the rocket camp had my son learning and loving it at the same time. The science camp was the real deal.
